The Matthews’ Art Gallery hosts a fun and free activity for children at least five years of age and up during the Spearfish Harvest Festival. This spooky craft will take place in The Matthews’ Art Gallery, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23. Children need to be accompanied by an adult guardian.
The children will make unique Halloween slime decorated with plastic spiders, glitter, and other spooky ingredients. After their gooey recipe is mixed together, the kids can personalize a plastic cup to act as a container for their personalized slime.
It is suggested that children are at least five years of age to avoid the possibility of oral consumption of any craft supplies. All ingredients used are non-toxic, but glitter will be available which is advised not to be eaten.
“Your kids will be entertained for hours with their Halloween spider slime. Parents can relax as this is a no mess activity,” comments Cassidy Schoenfelder, The Matthews community engagement manager.
